| Abstract: | This study examines the works of a group of child development psychologists and compares their findings concerning adolescents to the self-portrayal of a group of ten adolescents in their weblogs. The weblogs revealed a group of adolescents very focused on themselves and their immediate concerns, who are, with some exceptions, developing in the same manner as suggested by the developmental experts. Further research should be conducted using both the weblogs and direct observation of adolescent lives to fully examine the use and impact of weblogs on adolescents. |
